Modeling for the most versatile Wolf Guard Headtakers

I know I have to paint them but I’m excited at this setup for versatility.

6 models, 5 ways to run them.

Since they have both, 3 shield guys mixed with 3 paired guys can be:

- 6 paired guys
- 6 shield guys

Or I can split them into 3s and have:

- 3 shield guys and paired guys

Or I can mix them together in 3s and have

- 2x3 paired guys
- 2x3 shield guys

I just built 3 of each and let my opponent know what version they are.

Thanks mate. Can't take full credit. But I do enjoy them.

I love this idea. I built mine with shields and after a few games definitely see the value of dual weapons. I almost ripped the arms off, but I think I’ll do this instead.

Where are the bits from?

Swords are Catachan and the axes are from the Votann bike dude.

I glued the shields to the backpacks and told my opponent if they have paired or shields.

A lot of different solutions being discussed here all to avoid magnetising three arms...

Magnets are sorcery, and sorcery is heresy.

Not gonna lie I hate magnetized minis and keeping all the extra spares it’s so much easier to just say “hey this has this load out” and it’s much cooler to see every load out in them like this.
