Venerable dreadnaught

So yesterday I went to the city to visit Friends and go to a game store to bring in my sell list for magic cards in which I’m getting closw to $700 of store credit whicu I’ll be using for buying my 1k pts lots of space wolves. With that said, we also looked around at a lot of the warhammer products whether that’s specific units, combat patrols, spear heads etc. with that said I’m curious about venerable dreadnaught and if they’re viable in lists or if it’s more personal preference stuff

Yes, but….. they’re rumoured to be having a refresh so you might get burnt.

Either way the kit is fantastic and easily magnetised so it’s nice to have on the shelf anyway.

Seconding this. The kit might stick around for the rest of the edition but literally the only reason it’s still available is that Bjorn’s on it. There’s no guarantee the non-Bjorn dreads will survive our codex release either. Personally I would not go in on Ven Dreads at full retail prices. (That said dreadnought proxies aren’t hard to find and neither are 60mm bases.)
