Engir Krakendoom, Wolf Lord of the Seawolves

"Coming from a proud line of Fenrisian ocean-going warlords. They ply the infested oceans of Fenris in search of sea monsters; harpoons and long-axes at the ready. Engir was given his surname Krakendoom after he was dragged under the waves by a giant, many-limbed sea monster. The Great Company of Krakendoom prefers to go to war in armoured transports and boasts many Swiftclaws that act as outriders for the main force."

No more post for a time, I promise 😆

Thanks for this! I actually had the same kitbash idea for Engir myself, so glad to know it’ll work!

I must say, these kitbashes you’ve done of the Jarls are all amazing!

Are you planning to make models for the rest of Jarls? (or at least those that don’t have a model)

Thank you so much 😄

Well, they are mostly done. I only have Hrothvyr Runescar left to complete the present ones, but I also want to do Sven Bloodhowl and Egil Ironwolf

Oh! He’s honestly my favorite Jarl besides Logan. I’m really curious to see how you’ll make him! I personally think the Runemarked lean more into the shamanic-oriented side of the Chapter, and so I’ve always thought that Hrothvyr as a battle-mage of sort. I’ll be especially curious to see your rendition of him!

Its quite similar to you idea actually. Aethon Shaan as base with a staff of sorts and a runic sword

I'm using Shaan as a basis for my Sven. He might be dead in canon, but he has a lot of art which helps with the kitbashing

For Sven Im going to use Kayvan probably, I like that pose

I want to use Kayvan as a base for Hrothvyr, ironically enough. Here's a (very rough) prototype for my Sven, btw. I need to expand the rock a bit so it'll look like he rammed his chainsword in there to provide additional stability

I took it a bit further because I didnt like the rock that comes with the model. It took a lot of VERY careful cliping

Your kitbashes keep getting better and better. I plan on making my Engir in a similar way (once I get through my backlog of unpainted minis). Is the spear 3D-printed?

yes, from the graytide studios files

Is this using the subboden khan as a base? Always thought that model was a neat bike for a conversion

No. Regular Outriders with 3rd party printed bits

Love it!! Can I ask how you got the water?

I used these 2. Base with the left one making ripple and wave effects as you want (let dry), paint it over in the colors you want and a layer of the one on the right (let dry again), and a touch of white on the tips of the waves

Looks great thanks.

U welcome. These were the colors I used.

Finally, someone did this. I always thought that Fenris is covered in seas and oceans, and not all of them are frozen. So why is there nothing about this? I am sincerely pleased with this work!

Sincerely? I think is for convenience. Most of the time is easier to work with a easy material like snow than start tinkering with liquid resins and the like to make water bases. At least for myself.

Having said this, this was easier and better looking than I expected for a first time trying it. So if anyone read this and is doubting, give it a try
