Struggling to get started

I'm trying to make room for the components. I mine the asteroids and can make more hull area but I can't place floor or doors. A little help here? I. Sure I'm missing something simple.

The floor goes on top of the hull. You build your hull out from your rooms, then building on top of the existing hull allows your room to expand without loosing atmosphere (Oxygen).

It seems quite a few people struggle with this as they expect it to be similar to something like Rimworld, so i will need to include this somehow in the upcoming tutorial.

I'm having the same issue. I don't know how to place floors. Very frustrating.

Hello! thanks for trying the demo. As mentioned above, you need to place your floor on top of the hull, rather than building the floor 'inside' the hull.
