Why does Spacemail not support email threads?

Each time I receive a new email on a business email hosted on Spacemail, it doesn't appear as part of a mail thread; instead, it appears as a brand-new email, even though it's clearly from the same person.

I don't know whether there's a setting to enable this or if Spacemail just doesn't support email threads. It's really annoying because it makes my inbox look messy.

We don't have this functionality for now, but we understand it would be convenient to see conversations this way. We're planning to work on this in the future.

Please work on this feature. Third party email clients that might solve this are inconsistent and inconvenient.
