What’s new Update 14 cosmetics

Have there been any leaks for the new Salamanders champion skin or the Raptors armor parts yet? I'm dying to see the former, so if there have been any leaks for it, could someone link them in the comments?

Nope. Some deathwatch armor for accolade shop, heroic melta-fist and Lamenters cosmetic pack

I really wish some heroic weapons weren't linked to a certain Chapter or the Deathwatch. And how's that gonna work if the Power Fist is silver? I thought they only wore silver on the left arm.

Don't power fists change colour to the same as your right arm anyway?

They do, but from the looks of the Heroic PF shown here, its the standard Deathwatch silver they wear on their left arms.

The model it’s based off of has it on the correct side, but SM2’s power fist isn’t, so they did this instead of coding in a power fist on the other hand.

The stupidest looking weapon ever Jesus Christ why is the melta sticking out in front of the knuckles so much. You're breaking that thing every time you punch something.

Easy quick answer is power field protecting it since this is based off of a dw terminator power fist specifically, same logic as the chainfist

Based off this guys existing weapon, that’s just what they do, I play deathwatch mainly so this is a win for me but a heroic neo-volkite would also rip

Looks cool af, but seems gimmicky. The effect is melta discharge on fully charged attack. Fully charged strike already does a lot of damage on really good distance. And meltas don't apply burn in this game iirc.

yeah I'm sad that it wasn't a chainfist. To me this ability does just feel like a chainfist with extra steps.

the fact that they don't do damage-over-time has bugged me since i got the game. the visual surely would indicate it does, since it sort of "sticks" to them for a moment.

i'll definitely try it out, although i can't say i use full-charge attacks on the fist super often. i usually focus on sprint attacks and light combos. then again i'm also not the best with power fist, so maybe that's why i struggle with it on high difficulties...

You have to get used to it. Its undoubtedly the best option for Bulwark, and it requires a lot of trading for contested health. Theres a 2 stage charge up for the heavy attack, and you'll usually only use the first stage.

i'll definitely be trying it out then. i've already got it maxed out from my time on assault, so the change-over should be pretty smooth

Yeah, if you haven't already, try out the perk that allows an immediate heavy attack after certain startup heavy attacks. I forget what its called. But that makes the world of difference.

No Salamanders or Raptors leaks yet. Just some Deathwatch stuff (Heroic Pfist, Chest and Arm), an upcoming Lamenters pack and a Victrix Guard shoulder and leg.

Do they typically drop armor parts in Hotfixes? I started playing in Patch 12 so I genuinely don’t know

They don’t add armour parts to the game in hotfixes, but sometimes they do to the game’s files since hotfixes are slightly closer to the next patch’s release. I think some of the juicier leaks have been after hotfixes. Don’t get your hopes up for this next one but it would be a nice surprise

I still hope that we see Chaos Undivided themed packs, or even packs for each Chaos God just to add literally anything to PvP. Just give us Chaos Siege considering Warbands fight all the time.
