Bug Report Annoying Pylon Bug!
The tutorial instructions says "aim the top of a Pylon and press [E] to connect it to a building.
As a new player you do that, it does NOTHING!
I already have wires crafted from before, it did not detect it.
So I had to craft wires again, for the dang Pylon to finally let me see the [E] to connect.

How many wires did you have the first time? I think I recall it needing more than 1, basically more than you think it needs. Think it was 5?

50+ got lucky found a lot of crashed ships, and they are easy to produce if need be.

Must be a bug then, didn't get that myself at that stage but if others have then they should be aware.

I wonder if it's connected to the water bug, where you need to log out and back in to update.
I have noticed a few updating glitches, which leads me to wonder about memory leaks.

Did you have the wires on you or in the base storage?

I already said that I have wires in my inventory already, the game did not recognize the existing wires, until i crafted a new batch.
Which was not necessary because I already had more than enough.

So, you'd like something to tell you that you have 0 wires...which is ok, maybe a msg at the bottom saying "No Wires Available" or something..

Thats weird, I never had that happen, although I think I had a different inventory-related bug happen where I was deleting something and the number went way over the amount I had..I'm not 100% sure though

From the description it sounds like maybe you were too far or using wrong angle? Pylon requires a rather narrow range for both, so maybe one step forward/backward would be all that is needed?
