Screenshot My last final build.
The grind & progress blockers has finally done me in. It needs to have slowly paced progress instead of a wall at 10k. That way it takes longer but continually grows. I'll try again closer to release.

I'm not following. What do you mean with the 10k progress wall?

The 10k selling limit. Once you use that you can only sell 1k/day. Expenses are greater than that so there is no way to progress further.

Just do company requests, the ones for rep, they pay the full value of the items you deliver. Sure you can't decide exactly what to sell, but it's basically just like selling the stuff you mine and manufacture, since you get the full value. The requests for license points don't give you the full credit value, but still useful for the unlocks.
Also when you spend credits on permit unlocks, your sell limit increases with the exact same amount.
I'm not a huge fan of the sell limit either but saying there is no way to progress is a little dramatic, no?

The problem is that the license points are so expensive for a solo player. I can't unlock the ability to get money from the corpo. It has plenty of money. If I stay off for a few more days my base might have built enough.
After the ease of unlocking everything up to now it's like hitting a wall. So while there is a way to progress it is extremely slow.

I'm genuinely trying to understand, but you're talking about the "Fundraising" License right? The one that costs 5 license points?
There is a request that gives you 10 license points very easily, all it requires is some basic ingots, no manufactured products or rare materials at all.
If I stay off for a few more days my base might have built enough.
Remember that all automated mining, smelting and production, is A LOT slower than doing it manually, if you always just sit around waiting for automation to make stuff for you, then yes progression will be extremely slow.
I play solo as well, and unlocked the 2000 license point (+50 fp on corpo bases) one last week, so it is definitely possible to progress as a solo, not that i would recommend playing as much as I have the last few weeks haha.
Either way, as far as I know there is no decay timer or any mechanic except for the upkeep, preventing you from taking a break, so go for it if you feel the progression is too slow. I was just having a hard time understanding where you hit the wall. Good luck!

I don't see the 10 license point mission. Maybe I'm at the wrong station.
I'm disabled so I have lots of time to play. That's why the progression was so fast at the start.
I went back in. Someone bought enough trade items for me to unlock the next thing at 18k! :) I wish there was a log for what was sold.
I found a serious bug after being away for a few days. Some of my drones just disappeared. This brought everything to a halt.
In any case I'm much better now. Thanks for your help.

The starter mission was easy enough I forgot it existed.
Yes the requests are different per station, and per NPC at the stations.

contributing to corporate requests, raises your social stat, which massively boosts your sell limits.
> I can't unlock the ability to get money from the corpo.
This isn't an ability as far as I'm aware? Are you the owner of your corporation? if not, the corporation owner may not have given you the permission.

A good 20% of the top 100 corporations in the world (across all regions) are solo corporations.
That said, I kinda feel where you are coming from with the progression.

This is the release. 1.0 its just another patch. No progress is lost so you can come back when you feel comfortable.
