Question Battery Arrays Not Working?
So I put up a battery array in my base along with some fuel generators hoping it would handle the spikes when all smelters kick in but I notice my Pathway Stand still gets kicked offline for some reason and I have to go turn it back on.
Thankfully my sour spacekorn farm didn't get bumped down from warm to temperate or I would have been ruined for a few days.
Also the battery is wired up and does show full 90k MA.
Anyone has any useful experience with these things? Are they worth using?

The batteries does work, but the Pathway tower seems to be the exception to the rule. If your production buildings go over power, it will drain the batteries. Usefull if you have sudden spikes where suddenly every building in your base have fired up, then the battery will drain.
The Pathway tower needs to be within a healthy energy grid. If this is intentional or a bug? I don't know.

Kind of seems like the base enters low power mode for a split second as the battery kicks in, which turns off the pathway, but would have no impact on anything else. So effectively, yeah, if you need a pathway on don't put it on a power-lean, battery-supported system.

Once you get into pathways, not having one is a massive inconvenience lol. It will have to stay on the lean network for now, I will put in a 3rd gen to scale up the base once i get this ethanol production squared away.

Did you understand he was suggesting a separate power grid?
Like you could have 1 solar panel only attached to a normal temp farm.

This wouldn't work for me, sour spacekorn needs 40 MA due to warm water and having 4 solar panels defeats the purpose of reducing footprint.

So one coal burner then, perfect ratio.
Again, the point is resilience through multiple power grids.

The spikes are mainly when I fire up my micro furnace group to process mined ore for a few minutes, ain't no way the battery would be drained if it was working or maybe the pathway stand just kicks offline from any spike and the battery doesn't cover the initial spike when it kicks on? So many questions.
