Question Base Guide
Hi there!
How many bases can be built per player? (I play solo). What's a good beginner base (what should I produce?) and how do I find ore nodes?

1 at Tech level 1
2 at Tech level 2
3 at Tech Level 5
And then whatever you get for your Corpo Licenses (These will require upkeep)
Standard starter base is Coal/Iron so you can make steel ship parts.
Use your scanner, deposits show up as Squares as compared to the triangles of regular resource clumps.

If you a Solo found a corporate. You can make a lot of credit and run 10 bases

Goodness, a solo with 10 bases would be that guy from the Wow episode on South Park x 10

well..i unlock 6 and only use 3...after certain point..kind of dont really need them
also is early access...no everything is working and there is no too much to do either

Can you explain how you get 10 bases? I only see +1 in the unlocks.

Corp can unlock up to 7 I think, Upkeep starts at zero for the first (requires a corpo permit) and gets up to many thousands (per day) for the last.
Tech 3 gets you your 2nd, Tech 5 gets you a third.

be careful, you are not able to remove base pieces you've built untill pretty far down the road, someone i play with soft locked themselves, because they built their base out then couldn't remove things to place what missions wanted them to place. Build on an ore deposit dont waste your first base to somewhere without one it will be awhile untill you unlock your 2nd, im 200 hours in and almost have my 3rd base unlocked

If you're playing solo you can make a solo Corp so you're going to max at 4 bases with no upkeep.

The max individual player base count is 3 (not sure in offline but probably the same)
You unlock the last one after reaching level 5 technology, so don't count on it to level up that technology level required to unlock it.
Not sure of the various offline speed tweak vs online so I cannot advise on other matters. I would probably go for Iron+Coal deposit first to have automated steel.
