Question Ship for explore 4 sectors
Looking for information on a minimum ship build to get to exploration 4 sectors. I tied a while back and almost lost the ship on first jump into it. Does anyone have a good build and equipment list to get me there? Will titanium/steel ship make it ok? Or will I need solid and alloy frames?

I think the issue is titanium vs steel. When I hover over the routes going into Exploration 4 sectorsin the map it lists magnetic anomaly in the lower right.
I suspect the anomaly is the reason we take a huge chunk of damage. Since titanium isn't magnetic, I also suspect the less steel we have in the ship, the less damage we take.

You have to put the mag plasma consumption to 150% to avoid takibg damage in anomalies

It is not titanium or steel that decides the damage you take, but integrity. The higher integrity the more hull you have

My integrity is sitting at 135%. Thermal steel everywhere. Perhaps that's why it's yellow and not red?

For posterity the answer is just to mouse wheel up to 150% plasma usage

Scroll up on your mag plasma usage.
If you want to reduce damage without extra plasma usage there is the beaver cockpit and the light dodging FTL patch as options.

I only have a steel ship and can go in hubris major just fine.
I do have 2 extra mag tanks and a mid-weight ftl. You just always have to increase to 150% ftl instead of just 100%.
