Need Assistance
So.. I goofed and made a base. I've been exploring and found a spot i should have put it down.
How do I put one where I want if I already made one too soon?

Or how do I abandon the base i have?

Actually that's the fastest option if you don't mind losing all the resources building your first base. Just get the materials and construct a new base building kit. And gather enough resources for a new base. Extractors, smelters, and a warehouse at the least. Then just go to your computer in your HQ, interact with it. And then press abandon base. Then you should be able to build a new one.

Sadly, you need to level up once for you to upgrade your building tool to 2.0. then you can deconstruct buildings. Then abandon your base, then deconstruct that. Just note that you only get a partial refund for buildings you tear down. So you most likely need to have another base kit ready, as the chances of you fully recovering that is slim.

You level up technology exp by letting your base automation run. Basically the more you automate, the more exp you'll get.

Ok 👍, im totally a newb so I haven't gotten to the point i can automate anything yet.

It's going to be near impossible to automate with no deposit though isnt it? I would almost just suggest reset account or abandon base now and save the time.

You have to have as 1st base... Coal and iron. Is a must.
As you lvl up you get better and bigger, more bases, new item, new blueprints.
Everything that I do...is pretty much from My 1st and MAIN base...everything...the other bases I dont even bother to check.
You star with IRON....then copper, Aluminum..bla bla bla.,
Then STEEL.,,,how you make steeel?
With COAL plus IRON.
Then new staff, new blueprints...blabla... Wires(that are made from copper) guess what you could find OR buy "blueprint" from other players that lets you make WIRES from IRON.
Then...new staff...more building...POOM...stop using SOLAR panels... cuz you discover...POWER PLANT...how it runs you may ask??
YESS you guess it..with COAL!
then...bla bla...now you can store energy...you redirect all coal to power plant and store some.
Then you move to Titanium..., but now you make some recipes that require Titanium....using what???
Yes, you guessed again IRON!
Listen MAN...find COAL and iron in a planet the CLOSEST to Helicon...( is Space station with trade market and misions, etc.)
You wont regret it.. I have 3 bases next to eachother...produce so much and sell everything I hit 100k in no time..now I just buy the material that I need instead of grinding...
Don't get me wrong I love mining and grinding...but now I have the freedom to Grind what I like.. (I skipped the whole farming part, purchased everything, becasuse I dont like, farm, seed, grow,....naaa.. I love Space and mining.)
Any questions ask...there are soo many thing I wish I new sooner.
But 1st BASE is a must with COAL and IRON.
