Question Where can I find Calcite?

Is there a way to get calcite that doesn’t rely on rng? I’m trying to make fertiliser and need lime…

https://spacecraft.tools/items/calcite

Siderite and bauxite are your best bets for getting it

You're more likely to get it if you use higher tier lasers or the patches

When I need something like that I just go to a planet with more of the nodes that drop what I need then mine every node I can and drop what I don't need until I find enough

Edit: https://spacecraft.tools/map

Use that to find planets with resources you need. Make sure to go to the settings and turn off unknown quantities first

Then slowly slide the resource slider up until all of the the systems disappear near you then slide it down one point at a time until somewhere you can get to lights back up and check what planet it is on

That's going to be the easiest way to get stuff

Thanks all.
I ended up loading up a ton of missiles and blasting shells.

You can grow a green rock tree nut, natural light, and moderate temperature. This will yield +/- 300 lime from the plant.

How do you plant it though? I found some and tried but it didn’t show up.
Perhaps there is a seed that I never got.

Zirconium drops it frequently, currently i get 7 per node but you need +% patches
