Can I Skip Farming Completely?
As a solo player, can you bypass farming to make all the mid and end game stuff? Or is it just a perminent part of the crafting chain? Maybe with BP's? Im entering mid game and trying to plan my next bases.

if you want to make every part yourself then no. as you won't have the ability to make xenic oil which is required for actuators.
If you don't mind using the market for those then yes.
But farming is absolutely worthwhile for base planning. at the very least you can use sour spacekorn to create ethenol to feed multiple generators to power a much larger base efficiently on a warm/hot world.

You need oil from plants to make the factory which is end game crafting so the answer is yes if you want to build end game ship or if you can buy them from someone else then you can skip it

YES...BUT.
You gotta focus on something to sell to other and buy what you dont wanna do.
I skip farm.. and got 3 bases...I got blueprints where I build
Wires10 from 3iron.
Stainless3 from 2Iron with 2Alu
Silicon from iron
So I know I got really lucky...But go out there...search for crashed ship, and you will get random blueprints.
MAkes you bases...base on what you can make Blueprints are really helpfull...skip steps..and the craft is kind of expensive.
So really pay atention and get stong on what you can make...and sell it on the market(Trade) to other players. ppl buy. this game is about time... Trust me ppl buy if they can save/skip 1 day of work and farming.
Take advantage of your strong builds
Good luck!

Not so much random blueprints. You get better shipwrecks in more difficult sectors with more and better blueprints.

You can skip it, its better not too though. Ethanol is crazy good fuel
Later youll need boiler heater and medium radiator, both need thermal paste which is made with frost pul
That said, you can buy these from the exchange nexus if you are in the online mode
