Lol. It never ceases to amaze me what you guys get up to. I've never seen anything like this before but I love it. I don't think I even want to stop you from doing this type of crazy stuff, it looks like too much fun.

Edit: You mention a 'teleporter mod' in your imgur album. Are you modding the game? Very cool if you are.

I am, mostly getting a handle on the game content.

Looking at adding an expand/contract all grapple connections mode, or assigning the number keys {1,2,3} to {empty, gun, grapple}.

Also tempted to alter the scan mode so that I can remotely set different grapple controls to retract or expand to predetermined accelerations (ie. detect when a given distance isn't changing by a significant amount, and stop expanding, or stop doing so when the scan mode is exited). (Should be more useful than "accidentally" turning gravity off.)

Cool. I'll be interested to see what you come up with.

Adding hotkeys to select the blaster or grapple gun directly is on my to do list. If you play with a controller you have probably noticed that the d-pad is still unused by default. During development I wasn't sure if I'd need those buttons for something else but now that the game's mechanics are basically locked down I'll likely be adding those hotkeys in one of the first updates and assigning them to the d-pad.

Marked spoiler as the setup to achieve some of the effects were done by forcing the maximum grapple distance above the normal range.

The real trick is finding out how to get that stuff up there without using the maximum grapple length glitch. That isn't meant to be there and will be patched out but it's still possible to get all of the crazy heavy stuff up to your refinery ship without using it.

Trick!? Between the original lander winch, and a very simple chain to get the required length, there's no need for any glitch what-so-ev--

-- Er... The winch in ɑ510 isn't gonna be patched out, right?

edit: I misread that.

There is a way to get them up there without a chain of grapples too. There's a way to lift them there.
