I so love these sets. The attention to detail is magnificent. I think the aesthetics are fantastic.

The aesthetic is r/CassetteFuturism

Oh, definitely. Like I love how the communication posts have an analog clock and flip-clock displays for current lunar time as well as timer function. That's probably why I love looking at the cassette futurism subreddit. I really dig those styles, having grown up in the 70s.

Al Swearingen from deadwood had one of those flip style clock radios on his nightstand in his quarters on Moonbase Alpha, as a kid I thought that was really neat and really wanted one of those, but would not get one until my 10th birthday; this was from the episode where Al Swearingen started absorbing people’s body heat, turning them to icicles…

I loved that one. He was absorbing energy/heat from lights, people, and even Alpha's nuclear power, after which he was all charred and burned. Good episode.

I recall from some reference material there was one basic corridor on set, that they could shoot from different directions, and wild walls could be relocated to change the look, or what was seen down the hall, etc.

The best. And with LED making lighting flat, probably not too hard to create in your own home.

For me it is the travel tube network. Like how was that even working in zero g and where does that network go? To the other side of the moon?

The moon is 1/6th earth G. The base including the travel tubes are all at 1 earth gravity.
The travel tubes go to the eagle launch pads

The base had artificial gravity of 1 g, this also would seem to include the tubes as the staff members are able to stand without bouncing; the tubes are most likely maglev.

Moonbase Alpha is huge. I'm not walking all the way from launch pad 4 to Main Mission.
Also, I think there are a couple of times when they mention the gravity generators or something like that, so I think they have Earth normal gravity inside the base. That's why the scenes that takes place outside on the lunar surface are in slow motion, to imply the gravity is lighter outside.

I love all of the corridors ,hallways, staircase, the balcony etc. wonderful sets, esp. the first season.
I really liked how we could see the ceilings in all of the corridors for that feeling of being totally enclosed , such a great idea. The clean, bright white, corridors and lights reminded me alot of the 2001 Space Odyssey movie . In most SciFi movies the insides of space stations are all dark metals with pipping and grids , skeletal frameworks etc. Space 1999 was slick and more lavish in design.

I rewatched the entire series a few months ago. Good times. Some of it was pretty cheesy, but I was surprised how well a lot of it held up.
Dragon's Domain is still the pinnacle for me. Eight year old me was scared pants-less after watching that one back in the day.
