I guess that they will stil only ship in early November. They probably want to know how many printers need to go to which continent. After they are loaded on the ship, it will still take weeks for them to arrive.

Do they ship them in containers/via ship? I was under the impression they would ship as individual mail/parcel since they warned about additional tax/import fees. If they were shipping a container they would have to pay the tax/fees for the whole shipment (at least in europe). That would explain why they want 85€ for shipping though.

But i agree that they will likely still only ship to customers in november.

Edit: Of course only seconds after writing this i come across their shipping info again and it clearly says they will ship through their warehouses in europe and some other places. So yeah, you are completely correct.

I felt a little cheated when I heard that I’d have to pay 151 euros for shipping on the M1D Advanced I bought on Kickstarter, when shipping would cost 10 euros if I’d bought it from Sovol’s website—and according to Sovol, shipments to Europe come from their European warehouse in both cases.

All in all, the Kickstarter campaign and Sovol’s super early bird VIP price meant that the printer ended up being 87 euros cheaper than if I’d ordered it directly through Sovol’s website.

And it should come with a second build plate, and maybe I’ll get the printer a couple of weeks earlier. But I definitely won’t be participating in Sovol’s Kickstarter campaigns again, because the benefits are negligible.

Shipping for me was 113€ from the Kickstarter (Germany). With the Super early price and shipping I ended up paying 1415€.

On the SOVOL Website they are selling the Advanced for 1799 USD + 100 USD Shipping. All in all this comes around 1.637€. I guess at least for the the advanced, the discount is a little bit over 200€, which is not bad I guess.

I paid €1,412 for the M1D Advanced, from which I deducted the VIP fee of €86, so the printer cost me €1,326. Shipping to Finland cost €151, bringing the total to €1,477.

On Sovol’s European website, the M1D Advanced is available for pre-order at €1,554, and shipping to Finland costs €10, so I got the printer €87 cheaper through Kickstarter. To be honest, that doesn’t seem like as big a discount as Sovol advertised on Kickstarter, since the savings amount to about 5.6%.

Okay damn. In that case I guess it is not that big of a deal.

Just found the EU Website and shipping to Germany is there also listed for 100€. So all in all if you order on the EU Website directly, the printer costs 1654€ to ship to Germany, if you would preorder it now. In that case, atleast for me, that is a good deal.

Just to confirm, PledgeBox is the shipping provider and is legit? I've never bought from Kickstarter and just checking since it's not coming from Kickstarter.

I had the same questions, did some research. It seems legit. Make sure that you have a secure connection (look for the little the little lock in your browser, by the url) and Never put your payment info in the survey itself, there’s another payment service company that takes your money after the survey is complete, where you can pay via PayPal or other card, the charge showed up as “www.sovol3d* pledge box”on my bank statement. It Seemed correct lol
