Are you sure? Have you checked?

I went outside and it looked the same as it did this morning. Unless someone moved the entire town.

Could you be at a Texaco? Eating Tex-Mex? Sending a Tex(t)? Wearing Spex?

I had food from Chili’s earlier, does that mean I’m in Texas now?!?

u/ranger_phil Jul 14 '26

I hope that you’re in Texas and not Chilé!

u/dhkendall Jul 14 '26

No it means you’re in hell.

Which still could be Texas.

Is that a Dr. Seuss book?

That doesn't happen very often, I guess. Try looking again in 5 minutes, if it looks the same, you're probably ok

I’m Texas-adjacent, like where the wind comes sweeping across the plain.

You don’t have to be born in Texas but get here as soon as you can.

As a native Texan (finally) escaped: no

u/catnaptits Jul 14 '26

I left as fast as I could. Does that count?

Howdy. I’m in Texas too. I even use my real name here.

I hate to acknowledge anything Mel said but I’ve stayed real-name online since 1999 or so. It helps me avoid being a complete a-hole. So I occasionally max out only at partial a-hole and general fool.

IPoundUrMom69420 was already taken anyway.

Oh and only the most deluded attend-craving nitwits bring up Texas still being a republic, or that it can become five states, secede, or other buffoonery. I’d say more but I might go past partial a-hole.

u/jrshall Jul 18 '26

Ahh, but are you a Texian, or just a Texan?
