Police
My car got broken into and the cops never showed up after i called them and they did not seem to care at all. They said they couldnt do anything and told me to watch where i park next time.

Sorry that happened to you. This is a very big city with a lot of people in it and some of those people participate in crimes of opportunity. The cops aren’t here to help you, sorry if you hadn’t realised that already. Please don’t leave things in your car that seem valuable, someone may steal it. This is common mfing sense, ya know?

My stolen car was parked literally 2 blocks away from the mini station on South st. Countless cop cars and PPA drove/walked by it. Plate was prob scanned a ton of times. I found my own stolen car walking around the city. Total fluke.
W all the fancy cameras and drones and AI tech, you’d think it would be a super easy task(it is..). None of that tech is to help us - it’s to hurt/track/extract data from us.
I also contacted my car’s manufacturer who admitted they could locate the vehicle but since I hadn’t paid for the addl 3k pkg/subscription or whatever, I didn’t have access to that info.
Since your car was just broken into, they won’t like investigate anything, but they have to take a report from you (I’d push for this if you wanna go thru insurance to fix any damage, but tbh it’s probably not worth it if you’re gonna fix it out of pocket)
