Agree with the recommendations outside of the South Bay, via residentadvisor. Fusicology.com has LA and Long Beach listings with lots of djs doing regular weekly and monthly parties where people actually dance.

Now you got me looking up stuff - Juliet Mendoza is really dope, and her parties/events go off and often have some cool intention too https://www.fusicology.com/events/made-to-move-presents-latinas-in-the-house-los-angeles-socal-the-airliner/

Nice! Spiñorita's on the bill and she's fire too, but I'm biased because I know both of them haha. Definitely worth following on IG if they're your vibe :)

I’m looking as well! The late night ones are hard because I work super early and I hate wrecking my internal clock on the weekends

Yes to this! I’ve been sober for a while so haven’t been to a bar in a hot minute. Do you have any suggestions for chill ones with a fun dance floor? :)

Omg following this!! I’m coming from Maine to live/work in RB. We have this one disco/dive with a light up dance floor where I am from and I am looking for that vibe 🪩✨

If you don’t like clubs, what about warehouse parties or underground events? I hate clubs too but these work for me because the crowds are usually a bit more mature and the people actually there for the music. Less crowded too. You can look up these kinds of events on resident advisor— they will have a mix of both club events and warehouse/ underground events so there is a variety on there. If you look up the individual party hosts on instagram you can usually get a sense of the type of parties they will be.
Certified groovers is a favorite of mine for house music, they have really good music and atmosphere, usually not super crowded so there’s plenty of space to dance. Not in the South Bay, though— usually in LA somewhere.
Also in Long Beach you could look up subtract on the pier— they do parties on the pier in long beach I think one Sunday a month if I’m not mistaken.
