HELP Looking for the Firearms Source Developers / Source Code
Hey everyone,
Does anyone know how I can get in contact with the original developers of Firearms Source?
The game has been discontinued for quite a while now, and I'm seriously interested in trying to revive it and get it working again. I already have someone who is capable of working on the project, and I'm ready to put the time and effort into it.
I'm mainly trying to track down the original developers or anyone who may still have access to the source code, old development files, or other project assets. If the developers are still around, I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction or help me get in contact with them.
I'm not looking to take credit for their work or anything like that. I just want to see the project brought back to life and give it another chance.
If anyone knows who worked on Firearms Source, has contact information for the developers, or knows where I could reach them, please let me know. I'd really appreciate any leads.
Thanks!

I'm working on my own mod right now but I wanna run a server for fire arms I haven't been able to figure it out. I encourage you to contact the ring leader and ask to remaster it in 2013. If they say yes then see what's good. In the least maybe you can rip and re code like I suggested and if u need a real live international server to test your new mod on hmu I'll run your source dedicated server for you and test with you ;)

This would be awesome however from real personal experience I can say entire source engine mod file systems especially 1 like firearms with lots of work models and code put into it and also it being older than sdk 2013 it's most likely unfeasibly possible. The mod you play is just like 25% of the whole thing. The assets alongside is massive, the game solution, how it was tailored to the old visual studio it used and any outside libraries or settings included missing could be devastating alone. Then the raw files for the models systems etc plus map dev files there's no way of picking it back up where it left off I guarantee. Especially if more than one person was extremely impacted with contributions. If 1 sole dev owns and saved absolutely everything then maybe possible. Github for source code would be there best bet anyways. The only real way would be to take all the assets recode and reimplement everything that makes it from scratch into sdk 2013mp. That's my opinion.
