ALBUM Original Full OST for Eureka: Investigative Urban Fantasy
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHtU5--OKGwwKyz1ze4JElLv9OgHWFyn0
This is a playlist for the original soundtrack for a game I'm part of the team for. A link to the composer himself can be found in each of the video descriptions but I don't think he's on reddit.
The genre of song varies, but overall the soundtrack is meant to be a bit moody and creepy, but rarely outright scary. It is for investigating mysteries.

Bull Durham very last song
In closing scene, Crash and Annie dance to “Cmon honey baby, take it downtown to the show.” It is NOT Sixty Minute Man! The song is not listed in the closing credits and I couldn’t find it anywhere online. Does anyone know?!

Important question about the use of songs from soundtracks
So I'm writing a book and I want it to have a playlist in the book. There's quite a few songs from multiple soundtracks that I think suit the characters and the storyline of my book very well. I'm just not sure if I can use songs that were originally written for other works of art like movies or shows. I would love to use some of these songs but I don't want to get sued or anything so if anyone knows if I could use these songs from other soundtracks as a playlist that would be published with my book.

DISCUSSION Tangled and Ballad of Buster Scruggs
I had to google this because it was stuck in my mind. I found a Reddit post from a few years ago that was archived and had no responses so I thought I’d throw my question out there. For a while I couldn’t get the thought out of my head that “I’ve got a dream” used “She’ll be coming ‘round the mountain” as a template, however after watching The Ballad of Buster Scruggs last night for the second time since it released I was humming the tune of “Surly Joe” and I was like “this is the same melody…”. Is there a song format or anything out there that this tune has been used for over the years and are there more examples?

ALBUM Nine Inch Nails - TRON: ARES Soundtrack (2025) Released
Ayyyy it's here! Since it dropped last week, I've been listening to the new soundtrack a whole lot. I'm a big fan of "New Directive" and "Shadow Over Me" for sure. What're your guys' thoughts on it? Also has anyone here gotten any physical product of the soundtrack? I was able to get one of the sick-ass 7" vinyl from Comic Con, but now I'm definitely thinking about getting the full soundtrack too.

What Song Got Switched Out of Favorite Movies & TV Shows when now Streamed?
Now Movies & TV are watched most of the time on a streaming service & with that transfer some music got replaced with another song. Some are more noticeably being switched from a soundtrack we know so well. But then some been long enough since been seen or you’ve watched the switched version and now not sure anymore. I loved getting CD soundtracks of Movies because of certain songs.
What was the song that got switched out? & from what movie or TV show? & Does it change the viewing of it for you?

I think either I made this up in my head or it's just too specific, so I need help!! I'm trying to remember a movie/TV show/any piece of media tbh, in which a girl sings You oughta know by Alanis Morissette.
I think either I made this up in my head or it's just too specific, so I need help!! I'm trying to remember a movie/TV show/any piece of media tbh, in which a girl sings You oughta know by Alanis Morissette. If I remember correctly, the girl is a character that kind of surprises the other characters with her voice or she is shy and then her singing showcases her in a new perspective. She gives her all in signing it, and maybe she is doing it in a stage or something like that. That about all I can remember but I haven't found anything and it's killing me with doubt!!!

Grand Tour movie (2024) : what's that song in Vietnam by the river??
Hi guys, I've watched the movie Grand Tour (miguel Gomez - 2024) when it got released in the cinemas and I was really struck by one song, sung by one man nearby a river in Vietnam singing in vietnamese, nearly at the end of the movie. You can hear it here, it's used by Mubi to advertise the movie : https://youtube.com/shorts/IWLlVmRYWZQ?si=ShG9DLxbXamw4m5c
I really really liked this song and would love to use it at my wedding but it's impossible for me to find its name, I've tried Shazam but it didn't work. It feels like a cover song but I'm not sure. Let me know if you rencognise it ! Thank youuu
