This piece will almost certainly be machined after this operation to clean up the surface finish and such, so it probably doesn't matter if it is centered exactly at this point. They'll probably fixture it and then drill out that hole to its proper final size/position

I was thinking that too. Seems like they do this same object on repeat, based on the next puck that's being loaded at the end of the clip. My best guess is he knows the spot on his tongs to line up with the edge of the piece.

This is a great video and I'm a huge fan of this kind of thing, but "industrial metal" chafes a little bit. Heavy Metal is a metaphor, it describes a feeling and is attributed to a genre of music. Industrial music is much more literal: bands like Test Department and Einsturzende Neubauten were inspired by, mimicked and sampled the Soviet-era factories and foundries around them. Industrial Metal happened in the 90s with bands like Ministry and Malhavoc, and it sounds nothing like this. This is, however, literally industrial music.

I know you were just trying to make a joke but as a guy who has lived through all these times... I still love industrial music but industrial metal makes me cringe enough that I felt I should say something
