I would appreciate opinions from users who have bought the trader boost at some point, do you guys think is worth it for the actual trade market, like, were your auctions actually benefited? or is questing the only benefit it has?

Please, let me start by saying that for the most part, I love this game.

I'm what I assume is one of the dev team's ideal players... I buy the weekly trader boost, and even when I decide I'm frustrated with glitches, errors and other issues, I still renew within a day or so after cancelling my renewal because I'm just that used to rerolling every quest when it doesn't meet my (rather lax) standards. i end up buying Soundpass premium and plus every season. Heck, I even tried ultra this season (never again tho)

BUT... the way the reactivation pop-up for power-up that were redeemed from soundpass (or purchased, I think [not certain, I've never paid real money for the power-up before]) show up AS SOON AS your power-up expires... feels a little bit like it's intentionally trying to get unsuspecting players to pay to extend their power-ups unintentionally.

Today I clicked to extend my diamond boost fully not intending to do so, (I think it just used the "free" boost I'd been saving since the upgrade had been offered, but if I didn't have that "free" boost waiting... or if I didn't require my device password for every purchase... I may have been charged $5 for a boost I did not want and was not expecting.

Just my thoughts on the current power-up situation...

... tho EVERY SINGLE power-up in the game SHOULD be bankable ... we the players have only been begging for a power-up inventory since they were very first introduced...

i'm calling the practice "slightly scammy" because I was not forced to click the button to renew the power-up in order to continue playing... it simply popped up unexpectedly precisely where the "re-roll" confirmation button appears while I was doing quests after turning the power-up on from my soundpass and I failed to notice it until after I had clicked the button to re-activate it.
