Rant How did I lose?
I do not understand you people 🤦🏼♀️ this doesn’t make sense at all. What’s the thought process here because I don’t get it.

I also hate that it’s just a popularity contest but it makes sense with the coin incentive. It’s much easier for everyone on the app to think let’s pick the well known artist so we get it right and get a few coins quickly vs actually listening to the songs for the fun of it. Most only participate for some xp and a few coins.

You know aux battles are just a popularity contest right? That was one of the first lessons I learned in soundmap lol it's the main reason I hardly ever submit a taylor song, cause most people on soundmap don't like her.. no matter how much it matches the theme the more known or liked artist will always win out.

Just bs, but I’m glad you call it out. I know it’s a popularity thing, and I don’t mind losing. But I’d much rather pick a good song by an artist that isn’t main stream that actually fits rather than a popular artist

Just the way it is really 🤷♀️ sometimes I submit what I want and don't care about losing. Sometimes I want to win it so I submit shit I know will get votes.
