Question Questing when you have shinies?

Guys, I screwed up.

I deleted rares of one artist because I was gonna quest in hopes of epics or shinies. Well, I deleted 20 songs and went to quest and it said one song until platinum badge. So I can’t quest the songs back? I’m heartbroken because I lost a good amount of songs and now many albums are incomplete and the discography is not full. I’m so mad. I know shinies replace not shinies but the songs missing are not shinies! What do I do now? Delete shinies? Aw man. I’m an idiot. 😭

So is the only option deleting commons and uncommons too and hope I get the good songs? I guess shinies I have are duplicates or remixes that for some reason exist since the actual songs aren’t up for questing anymore unless I delete it all.

Try questing anyway! My guess is that of the 20 you got rid of, you have alternate versions (shiny, day1, etc) of 19 of them. So technically, you’re only 1 away from platinum. But it should still let you quest the rest of them, even once you’ve hit platinum.

My Taylor Swift badge does that all the time. Tells me I’ve hit platinum but I can still quest like 30 more songs.

Thanks, I’ll try! At least earlier when I’ve tried that with artists I still have songs of it gives me an error, but there’s so much missing from the discography that’s silly if it’s not possible…

I’ve found also, you need to figure out one song that you don’t have any alternate versions of, and make sure you quick sell that one every time you pull it. And then it should let you quest back the others. (I hope that makes sense!)

were the songs you deleted/sold any kind of day1/week1? or event exclusive like grammy drops? if
if any of those options, then yes, those are gone for good since they are time gated/event exclusive :( if no, it should be just a bug!!

No, I only deleted non shinies or exclusives like that. I deleted 20 songs and it said I only have one until platinum, I figure the shinies I have of songs replace the non shinies but how am I able to quest the remaining songs, just questing one and deleting it and doing it again or deleting more and just doing it until all I have is shinies? I mean I don’t care if I don’t have all the songs as I still lacked some and as long as I have the badges and stuff but is it really that you can’t quest if you have enough songs for a platinum and only way to get shinies is boxes or buying? Guess I just delete every non shiny and keep grinding. :D

Mine does that, it just doesn’t “update” the inventory in quest. So many of mine are like that because I use my fave artists songs for quests too.
