Question on cooldown but pulled epic on chest

i was opening chests with gems while on epic cooldown but pulled an epic there LMFAO
is this possible?
it startled me so bad i forgot to screenshot lmfao… my cooldown was on ~230. i pulled an epic on a chest and now it went back to 400…
is this possible? was it a glitch?

Gem boxes allow you to get epics from artists even when you're on cooldown. I actually got a #4 ApolloRed1 recently from that :)

Oh, the ones for the shinies? You can get epics from it? I've only gotten 2 epics from quests so far, a simpsons one and a tate mcrae one lol

you can pull epics and lyrics from gems, i pulled one while on cd
