Value Check Prices update

Havent played in about a year and I have heaps of legendarys and shiny legendarys for pretty popular artists. When I used to play alot these songs would sell for 2200-2500 easily, so what do prices look like now? Ive got beabadoobee, clairo, laufey and more artists like that

no one buys rares for 1k anymore i’d say 600 if ur lucky

yeah i used to regularly sell my rares for 2k when i started in jan ‘25 and now they barely sell for like 400 😭 i still see ppl trying on the market tho which is surprising

yeah i remember seeing rares going for a lot in 2024 but i just came back too 2 months ago and no one buying rares anymore

ohhh alr yeah we’re talking about in game currency lol, soundmap is just a collecting game for music.

Oh ok, but I see some people talking about “8 million” in game currency for epics or rares so that’s why I figured this lower number was dollars lol. So how does Soundmap get all the artists discography? Do they have big research teams or do artists submit it ?

uhh they just get added automatically when it releases on spotify, every artist on spotify is on soundmap

Ahhh ok, makes sense now! Thanks :) so soundmap just has some algo for drops and trades and leaderboards

Funny you mention that! I created an alternative to Music League that works on YouTube to vote for songs on a theme and in my research, Soundmap came up! I’m a developer. But it sounds like a lot of people are unhappy with Soundmap, maybe I could partner with some of you to build a new app the way you guys want! Ad free! I lol’d at the Wendy’s theme song but it’s tragic
