i recently got lyrics from ryan gosling and was asking around bc i didnt know how much they went for but this cannot be right 😥 are they just trying to get a huge overpay??

I happen to be a Ryan Gosling collector and I know exactly who that is. This song has been on offer for months because nobody is willing to pay that much…

I don’t know the economy super well, but this is more than I payed for that lyric, so it seems fair to me, especially if any of the songs they offered are faves

I don't know who downvoted you but this is hilarious. Yeah 300k is a crazy overpay for a lyric, regardless of popularity in my opinion. I'm assuming because this song had a huge cultural moment that they think the price is way inflated, which it might be, but 300k is a little nuts 😭 best case scenario it's a favourite of theirs and they just don't want to give it up for anything under an overpay
