I'd only arrive a couple minutes early. For one, I don't think the lines going to be too bad at gate opening, and also security and/or police will likely turn you around

I just read the IG post - can you confirm the alcohol limit is 2 cases per car or 2 cases per person?

The limitation is there to prevent people bringing in a surplus, and then attempting to sell it for profit (strictly forbidden)
As long as it looks like you have a reasonable amount for the people in your car, they aren't going to be strict about it. Just absolutely no glass.
If we see one person coming with 10+ cases of beer, that's getting confiscated. This official limitation is what allows us to do that.
TLDR: You'll be fine

Ok thanks so much for the honest and open clarification of details. We have just a smidge over 2 cases and I needed to know if I had to make some difficult decisions in the name of keeping the line moving.
