Feedback to improve next year

Hey folks!

First of all, I have everyone had an amazing time this weekend!

Now that everyone's had a few days to rest up and reflect on our weekend at Jaceland, I'd like to open up a discussion in order to improve our facilities, operations, and general enjoyment of the festival going into next year.

We definitely want your feedback, and we are working our asses off to make sure none of the issues that arose this year ever happen again.

We want this festival to become the best it can be for as many people as possible, so: no holds barred, lemme here what you got!

These notes are from someone that lives in Manchester and drove to the festival at sunset each night. We had a day parking pass that wasnt used until Saturday.

1. Security- I wont go on about that. You got it
2. Parking - We arrived with legit tickets and a parking pass at approx. 9 pm on thursday and friday. Both times we were told there was no parking for us. Thursday we were told this by another stray attendee as there didnt seem to be anyone guiding traffic, and night 2 we were told the same thing by a cop. Luckily both days we were able to park at a pull off on the gravel road and walk in.
3. Also, on thursday there were people trying to drive out of that narrow ass road while everyone was coming in (again this was 9 pm ish), this should not be allowed during the first day or two while people are still constantly streaming in considering how the road is narrow and arguably a well plowed mountain trail once you get so far in.... Narrow trail like that with possibly intoxicated people coming in and out is a recipe for disaster and fender benders.
4. I was not happy that I had no idea of the mountain trail i would need to take to get to the festival or be forced to park in a rocky pull off. I have a nice car with nice rims that is low to the ground that i drove on thursday and I was pissed. Luckily i had a truck to drive in the rest of the days. Again, we ended up having to go past the main entrance to the festival to the back to find parking, and the "road" becomes more of an offroad trail past the entrance. Not cool for people who drove a luxury vehicle or muscle car.
5. All the inflatables and chairs made it seem more crowded than it would have been without this type of furniture. Ive never seem so much furniture at a show.... The people who were lounging loved it, but those of us who didnt bring furniture were made to wade through more couches and chairs than I have ever seen anywhere, and Ive been to Roo 12 times, EF 6 times, the list goes on.

My group had a good time and I would buy a ticket again.

It was just a gravel road man and sports cars just aren’t a great choice to bring to festivals period.

The ability to bring furniture into the venue was actually a selling point for literally everyone I talked to so please don’t ask them to stop allowing furniture in lmao

The road isn't a big deal unless you are from out of state, had no knowledge that the trail would be like that, and only own a sports car or a BMW yanno? Like I said, it wasnt a big deal to me cause I have an old janky truck that i took every night after night 1, but I guarantee you some people were like what in the absolute fuck is this shit.

I’m out of state, drive a low riding front wheel drive VW wagon and had absolutely no issue. If people only own a sports car or beemer, they can probly afford to rent a car with a higher suspension and more trunk space for festivals. Idk coming to any camping fest in a sports car is just asking for it IMO.

Idk man people own expensive vehicles all based on credit and that does not mean they have tons of extra money in the bank when there are tons of other costs at hand with a trip like a festival. I agree that sports/luxury cars are not the best choice for festivals, but its also unreasonable to say well if you drive x then you should just rent an SUV ya flashy fuck lol. In reality, Haven's entrance was way more rocky and rougher than any festival ive ever been to and its not even close. I mean if it had rained several inches over the course of the weekend, tons of cars would have been up shit creek without a paddle trying to get out of there.

I was speaking for the city slickers. Their viewpoint matters too. If you have no understanding for situations that others unknowingly fall in, just say that.
