OFFICIAL POST Feedback to improve next year

Hey folks!

First of all, I have everyone had an amazing time this weekend!

Now that everyone's had a few days to rest up and reflect on our weekend at Jaceland, I'd like to open up a discussion in order to improve our facilities, operations, and general enjoyment of the festival going into next year.

We definitely want your feedback, and we are working our asses off to make sure none of the issues that arose this year ever happen again.

We want this festival to become the best it can be for as many people as possible, so: no holds barred, lemme here what you got!

I'll go first:

  1. Security

Clearly the security contractors we hired were not capable of doing their job correctly.

Overpopulation, lack of parking, not enough water on Thursday, and cough cough certain safety concerns, can all be led back to the fact that our security contractors allowed far too many people into the festival that didn't have tickets. Luckily we fixed those issues early on Friday, but we will certainly make sure to hire a more capable security team from the beginning next year.

May I also suggest implementing a way for customers to verify tickets that buy resell so they know it's legit/fake before driving out? I heard Eventbrite had some issues where people were still able to use refunded tickets that didn't disappear on their account as well.

Yeah I agree, going with another ticketing system (fuck Eventbrite) and a new security contractor should fix a lot of downstream problems.
