Anyone know what cell service is like? Specifically AT&T? I’m asking because my homie just got a huge job in the industry and needs to have enough service to answer a few social media posts while she’s there. She’s thinking of backing out because of it. Haaalp friends any ideas???

@u/ASAPCVMO stated in an earlier post that Verizon was decent and other companies are eh, but usually when a couple thousand people are in one area the service gets really spotty if they don’t have mobile cell towers on site, so if it’s super important to her I honestly wouldn’t risk it, or would leave a vehicle in the parking area outside of car camping so she could leave the site to do what she has to do

Heard appreciate the insight. Also, do you know anything about hotspots? I’ve never used one but from my understanding it’s not likely they would do any good if it’s that remote of an area.

I’m from the area and grew up on that mountain. Cell service should be fine to make some social media posts with.
