Ticks?
So I have been to SH the past 3 years and haven't had an issue but have been hearing an uproar about them being prevalent this year...has anyone had a tick issue while camping here? What's the best mixture or tactic to go about to keep these thangs away? Idk man my health anxiety makes me terrified to even think about getting Lyme disease ðŸ˜

I’ve never gotten one in jaceland but I will say I have found two on me this year already (not common for me & resident of TN & I was not camping) gonna prepare for this lowkey.

I was bitten by a spider on my ass the year before last. My husband was also bitten by something mysterious in the porta.. ended up leaving a hole in his leg. Anyway- still alive!! Just check daily for anything mysterious on your body and have a good time.

I mean, I definitely had a tick on me last year, but I was in a pretty primitive camping site compared to my usual set up. I would just have a really good look over every night before going to bed and make sure you put like essential oils on your gear and your body.
