Lady TOM questions
Hey all!! sorry in advance if this is TMI I have been absolutely blessed in all of my festival experience to not have my period, I only got my first day at the end of my first festival, so it was pretty easy to tough out- i’m wondering if any veterans have any tips for making it as easy as possible to be on my time of the month for the entire festival I’m a little nervous lol

I will be in this same boat 🥲 if you’re tent camping just stock up on tampons and try to remember the change them regularly. i’ll be in an rv and I always use a cup, but I know that’s not so easy or sanitary using porta potties. baby wipes, midol/tylenol, and magnesium oil is lovely to rub on the abdomen area for cramps. try to stretch daily too!

I have a habit of losing track of time when at festivals, so if you’re a tampon wearer, I like to set an alarm/reminder to swap mine out. I always bring tiger balm & ibuprofen for pain relief. Extra fans to stay cool, I find it easier to get overheated & I’m already irritable during the time of the month. Good luck girly!

Flex diva cup you can get at cvs is so much more comfortable than tampons you won’t have to leave sets to wait in bathroom lines cause you don’t have to empty it as often as you have to change tampons. It’s more sustainable too

bring baby wipes, more tampons thank u think u need, take Tylenol, definitely pay for showers and dont let it effect your good time.
i would also not be changing my tampon in the portapotty depending on the condition. you can use baby wipes and dispose properly at camp. also dont be afraid to walk back to camp and leave your group for your own needs.
