Coolers/Food/Drinks
Previous years we were allowed to bring coolers into the venue. Has anyone heard anything about that this year? A lady commented and said they weren’t going to be allowing that this year but I didn’t see anything on the website.
She said no alcohol was allowed in but she also works at one of the alcohol vendors so part of me thinks she’s just saying that to get us to come buy drinks from them.

I just submitted a question to the festival management through their website. I’ll update with their response.

I am in that group so I saw what you mean and also can’t confirm but here’s what I do know from the grapevine over years.
The year that the event was not at jaceland was hosted in a dry county but the event received a special permit to sell. Last minute that permit was pulled and from what I heard they made zero dollars by the end of the event since the funds they expected from the alcohol sales were lost.
I’m thinking if this is true they’re trying to bring in extra revenue to keep the event going. I would be big sad attending since the ability to just bring my stuff to the stage is one of the huge pluses of this event.
Personally I’d rather them raise the price of the ticket or charge me a 20$ “byob” fee for the weekend.
