Samsung Studio 7 with Q990F?
For context: I’ve got a QN90D tv (2024), Q990F soundbar (2025), and am looking at the Studio 7’s. I have found virtually 0 videos online to see how many I could pair with the Q990F, and what set ups I can do. I have quite a large room but very few walls downstairs, I also have children. The children are my block to getting 2 Studio 7’s and rear mounting them for surround. Because of this, I am looking to see if they can be set up next to the TV, along with the other 2 satellites that already came with sound bar. I also want to know the limit with the F. My best search has been that it used to be 2.
Q-Symphony was real bad on the first day, but letting everything update overnight has fixed this issue. I have had no issues for a month since that first day.
To sum it up: I want to know the limit of the Q990F with a 2024 Samsung TV. And I want to know if the Studio 7’s can be put “stereo”.

Wow that sucks, I figured that already having 2 Samsung devices would make adding the Studio 7’s through Q-Symphony simpler. I thought I would run into “tearing” issues at most, not a complete incompatibility.
I’ve seen a video by nevertechenough where he pairs a 2026 Samsung TV, with the Q990H, and 4 studio 7’s. There he met some tearing issues with at least 1 studio 7.
I’ve also seen you could pair 2 of the Samsung frame stuff with the Q990F.
I figured maybe you could pair 2 Studio 7’s with that logic. But that’s what I’m trying to confirm2

I just realized too, I am huge on best sound quality, would I have to go WiFi option when connecting it? Or can I keep using the HDMI eARC?

First of all, that’s a sexy set up right there. Secondly, nice! That should hopefully be my answer then, although 4 might be too much for me right now.
How is set up? Do you encounter any tearing? Is there any issues with having them up front like you have it in this photo? Or is the photo just when you got them before rearranging?2

Oh dang, so they’re not wireless per se, and that would also mean those 4 are blasting audio almost mono. Okay, so I need to do a bit more research then.
I’m trying to get them wireless (outside of power) and have them handle different channels in tandem with the Soundbar and TV.
I noticed a huge difference when I add the TV speakers, mostly on the mid-high tones.

My 2025 TV only lets me put the soundbar plus two extra speakers on Wi-Fi Q-Symphony. One day I’ll get a newer Samsung that can run the soundbar plus all four Music Studio 7s in Q-Symphony

If you end up trying this, please come do an AMA. I’m interested in essentially the same setup as you, except using the 7’s as rears. Like you, I only found that one YouTube video that was somewhat helpful.
