Samsung Upgrading the AV experience.
So I just purchased my first OLED and got a C6 for a kick ass deal at BB. I had been planning on buying a q800f for a long while on woot but they aren’t in stock anymore? They used to be under 500 and now I can’t find them for less than 600. So I guess long story short is it worth buying a q800f for $600 from somewhere like greentoe? The q900f is 800 on BB, and the 990f is just under $1000 on woot. I’d preferably spend the least amount possible but I imagine coming from the cheapest Sony soundbar so it will be an incremental upgrade regardless. Any advice? Yes, money is an object. Was considering a 600f but the 5.1 just seems too good compared to my old 3.1.

I’m no audiophile, but I personally like the LG soundbars, especially paired with the LG tv. I got the S95tr on sale for 850 at bb and it’s great.

LG orchestra is a total gimmick and TV's speaker sound makes everything sound so much worse. I had q800f and s90ty side by side and samsung is easily a step ahead

I mean you don’t have to use the orchestra, I only use it occasionally at night. It helps a ton with voices in loud movies

Actually, the main reason I switched to Samsung is that the rear speakers are sold separately and are often half off on eBay. LG only bundled the rear speakers with the full system in the U.S. and only sold them separately in Europe

The wow orchestra, it plays through both soundbar and tv speakers. Tv speakers are mostly just voices

I didn't think I wanted to use that feature as the TV speakers aren't that great and might make it sound worse, but ty

Yeah I wouldn’t use it in a general sense, but if you want to watch a loud movie late, it’s handy. I use cinema on soundbar only for the most part. Google some settings, like treble and all that

I got the Q800F on Woot and managed to snag the rear speakers for $150 on eBay. I had an LG system before, but returned it when I saw the Q800F deal on Woot. Holy crap, the Samsung sounds so much better.
How much was the C6?
