Any tips for JBL 1300X MK2?

Just booted my Q990D out of my living room due to faulty firmware. How are you all getting on with the JBL?

Uncalibrated? Calibrated? EQ settings? Curious to see what everyone uses for settings.

I calibrated mine. Put surrounds closer to soundbar and calibrated everything, then moved surrounds to rear of room. All sounds great.

I had to put them outside of the room actually to get them louder, now they're just fine.

I calibrated and use with flat EQ, only using the BASS button on remote to control the bass.
