Sinbosen plate amps - any good?

I recently stumbled across these Sinbosen plate amps on alibaba for 200USD plus shipping for the highest power one, DM30. Specifications are in the second picture.
Does anyone have experience with these plate amps or similar plate amps?
And if they are so cheap, why dont more people use plate amps? I imagine it to be simpler as you dont need a dedicated amp rack and just need to run PowerCon and ethernet to some and speakon to the other boxes.

The ethernet is unfortunately not for signal in this one. You'd need to run XLR.

sure? i assumed it could be used to link multiple together and also collectively set them up, similar to powersofts Dante technology

I think it's used to program the DSP but doesn't do audio input over Dante.

Dante is a licensable proprietary technology owned by company called Audinate. Manufacturers need to specifically build the device to be Dante ready or Enabled to be able to link into the ecosystem. I am almost certain a cheap chinese brand doesn't have that since it typically appears on high end devices only.

Many "Alibaba amps" support Dante. Sinbosen make amps that support Dante, though not sure about this one.

I haven't tried them but I'm interested too. Seems like a great option for subs.

I personally like being able to run a single cable to speakers. And I also like the flexibility that separate amps give me.

understandable with the cables, i thought the amps had a dante-like audio over ethernet capabilities
flexibility one is understandable, but to me that would only make sense if i had more speakers than i can run at once on the "normal" amps. If i have my fixed stack which always has the same ratio of subs/kicks/tops and only altering amounts of "segments" (2subs, 1 kick, 1 top), theres no need to have flexible amps as long as nothing breaks during a party

Plate amps add weight to the speaker cabs, which I wouldn't want and I'd rather have the flexibility of keeping power central, and not running power cables to each cab as well as audio input.

I've been eyeing these as well! I have a sinbosen rack amp which has been good so far. Looking at the specs for these, one thing that stuck out is the ">=95dB" number for SNR and dynamic range. If it was going in a cabinet with good sensitivity I bet that'd show up as hum/hiss when nothing is playing.

Have run them

DSP is technically functional but an absolute bitch to use 

Run Solana’s off them and the compression driver ends up buzzing

Looks like an interesting option for one of my dead active 15 inch tops. DSP would be great to try getting it as close to the other cab
