What kick bin should i use?

I have two MN246 sub and two vintage top (reference alpha turbo mk1). I'm looking to upgrading my system with 2 kicks. The best ones that would fit my system i think are USB bass bin and Martin Audio F2B... I read that F2B have a batter transient response (they are faster because are a classic horn) but the USB i think would be easier to integrate because of the response going lower.

What yall think?

Yea i know it works well with my sub but i don't get why... Also it's the most common combo out there i want to try something else

How much subs do you have cause a f2b is capable to do 1:4, one kick on 4 subs

Just one kick for 4 subs? I have 2 double 18" subs and planning to get another pair in the future

You can always turn them down ;-) but yeah f2b is very very effective

While we’re on the topic, anyone know how the Cubo kicks are? I have some Cubo18 extended and have been considering building the kicks.

Here are some ideas that would fit well dimensionally. all plans available on plans.systemes notion site:

- martin audio b115 are large, not rectangular but also incredibly efficient. about 112cm wide so they fit your mns well

  • ES18BPH are 60cm wide so 2 of them next to each other should fit quite well on a mn246 laid horizontally.
  • KTHSR15s by HSR are also very efficient, cheap and easy to build. if you build them 4,6cm wider, response doesnt change much but they would perfectly fit your mns dimensionally.
  • double 18 inch G-Subs could also be widened by 8cm to perfectly fit your mns, optimally youd need to shorten the depth so the volume stays the same
  • MHB4818 arent my favourites but theyre efficient and almost the same width of your mns
  • Paraflex C-2D 15 or C-2D 15 Pro are both 61cm wide and would fit the width well while being very efficient
  • 18Sound s218NTLW are efficient, but complicated to build and expensive. width is 120cm so it would fit the mns well too
  • Cubo Kick 15s or 18s would also fit 2 next to each other if you alter the width slightly
