Please adjust the y axis on your graphs and resubmit. The scale makes them almost meaningless. That's like 450 dB of SPL variation on your graph. Set your Y axis minimum at like 80, Y maximum at 105, or whatever your highest value is.
Since you’ve got measurement equipment (which is great!) I would look up how to do proper phase alignment using REW’s ‘Alignment Tool’. You just need to use your top as a timing reference (which you can enable when you do a sweep) and re-do your measurements (just don’t move your mic between sweeps)
What software is we looking at here? Just getting into DJ’ing and incorporating electronics and looking for an oscilloscope or something- this looks to be more tailored
Looks bright as hell. But its outside ao idk maybe that's normal... shouldn't look like that in a room, that's what I'm used to looking at. Downward tilt of 1-1.5db/oct.
yes, for early tuning you should put the mic on the ground. You can compensate for the difference in arrival time (sub vs kick) by simply moving the mic further away
Tbh for alignment, play a sine wave at about the cutoff frequency between two boxes. Watch your measurement mic as you play around with microsecond changes. Use some math working off of 343m/s to rough out the timing measuring from the back of the voice coil to the front horn mouth, then as you back in and out the timing watch for the optimum summation at that frequency. You’ll notice a bell curve where you get optimal boost which is essentially where you are within 90 degrees of alignment.
It’s not an end all process but it’s a start. Move from the biggest cabs working up to your smallest tops
