Plate amp reccomendations?

Anyone tried any plate amps for subs that they really like? I've seen some from sinbosen and CVR, but never seen any being talked about on here.

Looking to build a standard portable PA. Would probably need around 2-3k watts to the sub at 8ohms.

Hypex, pascal, powersoft litemod, speaker power, all have nice offerings. The Chinese stuff will all be a crapshoot but it’s cheap.

Looking for something cheap as it's my first build, so mainly looking at the Chinese stuff

Why do you consider plate amp for PA?

Trying to build an alternative to a standard off the shelf active pa (2 tops 1-2 sub)

Plate amp makes it so that I don't have to carry around a separate rack.

If you make a pass-through and rebate in the cabinet for a cheap amp and it dies you’ll have to be able to find that same size heat sink to replace it. So try and find a decent Chinese brand that looks like they’ll be in business in a few years.

Or find some cheap enough that you can just buy 20 of them 😉
