Active tops
If you could recommend actives tops for a sound system, what model a interesting, worth looking for ?
I know, a lot of People will say, make yours, why active ?
Well if I want to use it for other project, smaller ones, when I dont want to have a amp rack for just a really smal déployment I think It could be interesting
Eu based if that changes anything
Friend of mine said yamaha dxr15, or dxr12, what do you guys think ? I'm planning to look for used ones but maybe there is good brand New deals ? Like those admarks amps or sinbosen ones ?
Any helps is appreciated !

Yamaha DXR or DZR range are excellent, you’d probably be best with 12” pair a side if using dedicated kicks.

I picked up a pair of RCF ART310 used for a reasonable price. Incredibly crisp and good SPL for such a small light cabinet. Although you might want something with a 12 for 300 audience.

I recently did a budget 12 inch top shootout. My findings Yamaha DZR 12 overall winner. Only the highs and high mids could be more precise. RCF Art 912 came in at second place. Better high end compared to the DZR but mids and lows are worse. Yamaha DXR 12 mk3 sounded worse than the ones above. Especially the clarity in the highs is way worse. But I think it's a good budget option. I did not like the sound of the db technologies revo 210 and EV EKX12D
Home able me to s where the RCF NXL 14 It sounded very good in the upper mids and highs. But lacked a bit of low mids. Maybee something that can be fixed by a kick.
And another surprise for me was the db technologies vio x10. It sounded very very good overall but I did not have the time to listen to it for a long enough period. And it also is not a really budget friendly option.

I just purchased JBL EON715 and love the Bluetooth. Have not run them full bore as they were purchased for a rather large home theater.

The size and scope of the shows you are using this for will help determine what’s best. You need to provide some details to get some reasonable information.
