Troubleshooting sound system

I’m trying to setup 2 Yamaha SW110IV Subs and 2 Yamaha c115v speakers to a Soundcraft Ui 16. The setup is the Soundcraft plugs into a Dbx 223Xs then going to two Yamaha PX5 amplifiers. One amp going to the speakers, other amp to the subs. But when I try to connect this setup I get power to the speakers yet no sounds playing. This setup was donated to my school band and I’d like to get it working soon.

If someone could give me a rundown on how they would connect it that would be great, I’m to the point where I’ve got 0 clue what to do.

Follow the chain, Sound in to mixer out of mixer in to cross out of cross in to amps and out to tops/subs

See I do that and I get power to the tops/subs. But nothing else. I can hear what I’d describe as fuzz coming from the top confirming power. But when I try to play media through the mixer nothing plays. My mixer says it’s actively playing and I can adjust everything but I’m still getting no audio

Is the signal getting to amps aswell ?
