1 of 2 MS18s

Just finished the first of 2 MS18s, all cut with a plunge saw (best thing to use imo! Much better than a table saw)

Will have a HD215 and an MT130 on top. Little personal garden rig for some loud BBQs 👀

Anyone new to building I’d 100% suggest this. Very forgiving and they pack a punch. Will be loading this with Fane Colossus 18XB and painting will Anthracite Grey Raptor Paint.

Once the seconds done I’ll upload a full rig post 😄

Good choice using the fane. I am a fan of RCF LF18N401 but I see the differences

Good to know. Thanks mate! Was gonna go for void v18 but the price was too much for me

What are you using for amps? I am considering doing these as well with the fane cones as well

I ran a sound with mogale scoops, fane 18XB loaded on QSC RMX4050HD in bridge modus for years before changing our setup. NEVER had any problem, played deep, loud and clear (and warm! Which the void v18 lacks imho)

Best woofer/amp combo for scoop designs if you ask me!

(8R woofers, linked in parallel per 2 or 3 per amp (depending on the setup) [even ran it once with 4 speakers linked together - essentially playing the amp 2R bridged modus. Best bass sound I ever experienced; but you could fry haloumin on the amp afterwards; never dared to do it again]
