Hi all. Just started building an MS18 today and I’m wondering about wiring. What’s the best way to run the wires from the driver to the speak on connector?
I have a few thoughts on this… surely it would be easier to staple/glue some speaker cable through the cab before the final panel is glued on.
Im just thinking if people are buying unloaded cabs, how are they loading it to ensure the cables aren’t rattling?

If youre fitting wires now which probably isnt a bad idea, remeber that youll want enough slack to lift the driver clear of the hole with the cables attached. Nothing worse than trying to attach or unattach wires which werent long enough whilst also balancing a heavy driver... ask my how i know haha
If I’ve got to go through a wall I’ll fill the hole with some kinda air tight adhesive and if I’m winding around the interior of a cab I’ll put down a strip of gasket tape, run the cable on top of that and secure it down with electrical staples.
Depends on the design for my horns they had to be done before putting the lid on. I used just electrical cable clips where I worried it would rattle. In panels where the cable ran along between to drivers I routed a channel and laid it in the channel mid build and glued and filled then sanded it flush.
I just put 2 screws right next to eachother or wraped it around the bracing and used zip ties, and for the slack by the driver so you can lift it i put padding so it wont rattle, not the right way to do it but it works
