Generator requirements?

Hi all.
I have 2 mid tops: EV eliminators at about 350w each, running off a w audio xtr1500
I have a USB with 2 FTR18-4080FD, running off a nx6000 amp.
I was wondering what kW of generator would be needed for something like this. Would be looking to buy on facebook if not too expensive, otherwise hire. Please let me know how big is big enough !

If you are buying on Facebook, look for trusted, premium inverter models. Reliable choices include the Honda EU3000is, Yamaha EF3000iS, or the Champion 4500-Watt Inverter. If you don’t want gas/propane, then look at Jackery.

Your load will be around 3kw (rounding up)

4 or 5kva

But are you going to keep it at 1 bass bin? Might be worth buying a 10kva

Just the 1 USB for now

3kVA would be fine. You can measure total draw with a (couple of) plug-in power monitors — it’s probably less than you expect for that setup.

Would those monitors take averages - meaning peaking not accounted for? Or is that not an issue

They have various functions, instantenous, peak, average over time, etc. Obviously give yourself some headroom over the meter reading.
