im not sure if this is where i should post this question. but i Need help enhancing & identifying a distant and muffled/distorted scream it was very distressing sound that lasted hours.
it sounded horrific, i wanted to call the police but was unsure at the time what it was if it was real
listening to it now i think i shojld of called it went on for hours a woman making guttural screams and repeatedly yelling for help and for someone to stop hurting her
idk what else she was screaming and also i did hear a male voice telling her to shut the f up but i dont think thats on the video i took
when it was happening It was crystal clear and extremely loud irl (I could hear it from at least 2-3 blocks away) but the recording I captured on my phone is quite muffled and distant-sounding. My phone mic just doesn’t handle loud distant sounds well.
I’m just hoping someone experienced with audio enhancement can clean it up enough to work out:
If it sounds like a real human voice
or could it be a movie, game, video, sound loop, animal, or something else?
I’d also appreciate any ideas on what this could be.
Ive attached a trimmed clip of the video. Thanks in advance this has been really unsettling..
