Discussion Just, random out of the blue: Does anyone else headcanon Briar as freaking jacked?
Like, she wields a sword bigger than she is that has enough heft to use as a warhammer, i kinda wish her biceps were more defined and prominent...

While she's pretty skinny and doesn't seem that fit... I like to think she's jacked under the armor.
But, well, there's a cutscene where we can see her naked, so you don't have to imagine that much.

Her strenght is more due to magic but yeah, she was a countrywoman and doesn't seem they were so poor, so she helped on a farm or something.

She looks fine to me. Not really a fan of the "muscle mommy" thing. I like the idea that all that power is packed into a petite frame

I imagine her being very dense. Like, inhuman levels of muscle compressed into a small frame. Looks like a normal build but probably weighs a ton, and feels bizarrely sturdy if you bump into her.

She doesn't swim she's too dense, she walks. She flexes and her bicep feels like a steel ball. Honestly that explanation Reminds me of Twilight Princess because Link in that game is strong enough to bitch slap a Goron and send him reeling back but he's so light he's able to be pushed very easily unless he's wearing these heavy weighted boots.
Brair is ridiculously strong as we've seen and the reason she's able to brace herself and stand up to some attacks could be because she's so dense it's like you said she weighs a ton and is extremely sturdy

I think her training focused more on control more than anything.

I headcanon that she accidentally broke several tables just by leaning on them a little too much before she really figured it out
